EPC's WebRider Custom Web Design Team-- Our Frequently Asked
Questions...
 |

Your Custom Website Design Journey begins with a simple Email or phone call
to give us a basic description of what you're looking for in general.
During this contact, we discuss general cost, options that are available,
and get an overall feel for what kind of website you're looking at providing
for your organization and business. A meeting between EPC and your company
or organization is then scheduled, and the adventure begins.
|
|
|
 |
The
First step of your website being created is to have a meeting which is the
first meeting to discuss what features you'd like included on your website. Our
representatives would be happy to either
meet with
you at our facility, or we can come onsite to your organization or
company site. Eventually a bullet list of items is generated from our
discussion to provide you with what will be an effective web presence.
Your EPC Websales Representative will take that information back to our
offices where it is reviewed and gauged for cost. |
| |
|
 |
Our EPC's Websales staff
then generates an overall bid (see
a sample bid), based on our general costs, and the features that you're
interested in having on your website. As you can imagine, no two
websites are the same, and as such, pricing for different web solutions
varies. Your bid contains costs for everything involved in the
creation process from website hosting, to construction of your website, to
any additional options that you might have referenced in our initial
meeting.. After you review your bid (usually sent either via Email or
fax) you can fax it back to us with a signature verifying cost and services
details. Often we receive payment in full, however it is more common
to get half the total cost on start up, and the remaining balance upon
completion of your website. At this point we also create a "Customer
To-Do List' (see
a sample to-do-list) that provides our customers with a detailed online
listing of items that you as a customer need to provide to us so that we can
"fill in the blanks" of content on your constructed website. Any date
of completion is completely dependant on the customer's completion of their
provided to-do list. |
| |
|
 |
The
WebRider Team then provides you a "snapshot" of what your website will look
like. In general, this will in corporate the logo, the color scheme
and general look of your website, which we can tweak according to the
proposed outlines in your WebRider Bid Sheet. You also get to view all
of this via a browser window, online, so that you will always have a great
idea of what you're website content will look like on-screen before it's
ever created. When all criteria and physical make-up of your website
are completed to your satisfaction, you provide us with "the green light,"
and the WebRider Staff kicks into high gear. |
| |
|
 |
Your
Green Light allows our technical, programming and web design staff to "begin
construction" on your website (much like a building is created), utilizing
the content listed in detail on your Customer To-Do List (see
a Sample To-Do List) to compile
completed web content for your website. Usually we'll provide your
website in 30 days or less, after receiving all of your website's "To-Do
List" contents. One of the best parts of all of this for the customer,
is all of this happens online, so that you get to see your website
completed, step-by-step, to see that you really are getting your money's
worth from EPC's WebRider Design Team. |
| |
|
 |
As your
site nears completion, you're able to check out each day to see your
website's contents come together, and contact us with alterations as we go.
Please remember that additional alteration outside the agreed to bid
arrangement will alter the cost. When the site is "complete" you and
your WebRider Design Team Representative will be in constant contact (either
electronically or via telephone) to ensure that your needs and wants are
taken care. Just like anything else, communication is the number one
priority. Finally comes the time for your website to go "Live..." |
| |
|
 |
Often
times, depending on how quickly the information from your Customer To-Do
List is provided, your website can be completed and Live sooner than the
projected date. When your website goes live, it's literally a "turn of
a switch" that allows your website content to be viewable to the millions
that are interested in seeing your website content. |
| |
|
|
This 6 Step process
describes the general EPC WebRider Design Customer, but does not
describe every customers general experience. Each website, as you
can imagine, has different detail, time-tables and items that require
alterations in everything provided. |
